ASTON VILLA have named the six staff who have come to the club as part of Unai Emery's backroom team. The VillaTV cameras were at Bodymoor Heath to catch the players' return to training.
The Aston Villa coaching staff has been in place since the Birmingham outfit appointed Unai Emery as their latest manager. The new training ground was officially unveiled on May 6, 2007, by then-manager Martin O'Neill, then-team captain Gareth Barry, and then-owner Randy Lerner.

In the refurbished gym at Aston Villa's training ground, players are put through their paces by the club's new coaching staff. The six-man team has been assembled by Unai Emery, who was appointed as Aston Villa's head coach in October 2022.
The new coaching staff includes:
- Pablo Villa - Assistant Head Coach
- Jorge Simo - First-Team Coach
- Joan Carles Carcedo - Fitness Coach
- Paky Ayestaran - Goalkeeping Coach
- Victor Manas - Analyst
- Alberto Moral - Fitness Coach
The new coaching staff has a wealth of experience at the highest level of football. Villa has previously worked with Emery at Sevilla and Arsenal, while Simo has worked with Emery at Sevilla, Paris Saint-Germain, and Arsenal. Carcedo has worked with Emery at Valencia, Sevilla, and Arsenal.
Ayestaran has worked with Emery at Valencia, Sevilla, and Arsenal, while Manas has worked with Emery at Sevilla and Arsenal. Moral has worked with Emery at Sevilla and Arsenal.
The new coaching staff will be tasked with helping Aston Villa to improve on their 14th-place finish in the Premier League last season. The Villans have made a solid start to the 2022/23 season, winning two of their first three matches. They will be hoping to continue their good form under the guidance of their new coaching staff.
